The Infamous Masterson’s , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I experienced behind its threshold was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.
The State of the Venue : Filthy and Abandoned
From the moment I walked in , it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this bar . The floors were sticky , and a overpowering stench of stale beer and filthy restrooms filled the entire establishment . Smelling a mixture of ammonia , decay and illness .
